Plaimont Terres d'Artagnan Rosé

A rosé from the southwest of France that impresses with lively fruit and refreshing drinkability — ideal for warm evenings or as an uncomplicated companion at the table.

Plaimont is one of the most important winegrowers' cooperatives in southwestern France, founded in 1979 in Gascony. The cooperative unites winegrowers from the Madiran, Saint-Mont, and Côtes de Gascogne appellations and is considered a driving force behind the revival of old grape varieties such as Tannat, Arrufiac, and Colombard. The Terres d'Artagnan —named after the famous Gascon d'Artagnan from the Musketeer saga—represents the estate's everyday wines: approachable, characterful, and deeply rooted in the region.

In the glass, the rosé displays a light salmon pink hue. The nose offers aromas of red currant and strawberry with hints of watermelon and fresh herbs. On the palate, it is light, with lively acidity and a short, dry finish.

Best served at 8–10 °C . Pairs well with grilled chicken, a charcuterie board, goat cheese, or light pasta salads. Also a good choice on its own as a summer aperitif.

Plaimont

Gascony – formerly known as "Pays de Cocagne," a land of plenty. Armagnac was the primary wine produced here until André Dubosc introduced the French Colombard grape variety to the Gers department in the late 1970s, revitalizing the region's winemaking tradition. Today, lush vineyards flourish, yielding fresh, flavorful wines with aromas of exotic fruits and citrus. The d'Artagnan wines mature in the Saint-Mont appellation, named after the fourth musketeer. Bold and fresh, just like the hero. Nearly 220 hectares are dedicated to producing wines with character. Gascony – not just for musketeers.
