Olio extra virgin Opera Mastra, Coupage
A blend of Peranzana, Gentile di Chieti, Intosso, and Coratina – four indigenous varieties from Abruzzo, harvested between late October and mid-November at the peak of their polyphenol content. Gambero Rosso awarded the result the special prize "Best Blend 2026/27".
Behind this is Giuseppe Ursini, a member of the Mastri Oleari, the guild of Italian olive oil experts. He recomposes the blend after each harvest, according to the characteristics of the vintage. This makes the oil a standard in top restaurants in Abruzzo.
In the glass, a vibrant green with golden reflections. On the nose, apple peel and vegetal freshness. On the palate, fruity with elegant bitterness, bay leaf, green walnut, and a long, slightly peppery finish. Serve chilled : over bruschetta, arugula salad, seafood tartare, or grilled fish.
