Olio Extra Virgin IGP Sicily

Centonze's extra virgin olive oil comes from northwestern Sicily and bears the island's IGP (Protected Geographical Indication) designation. The jar combines three indigenous olive varieties: Nocellara del Belice, Cerasuola, and Biancolilla—each contributing its own unique character to the overall blend.

The nose offers fresh grass and ripe tomato, followed on the palate by almond and a subtle spiciness that lingers for a moment on the finish. Medium fruitiness, clear structure — typical of multi-varietal blends from this growing region.

Serve cold over grilled vegetables, legumes, or bruschetta. It also complements stews and red meat. Do not use for searing or frying —the flavors will be lost. A dry Grillo or Carricante from Sicily pairs well with this wine.
