Olio Basilico

A cold-pressed olive oil from Ursini's Terre dell'Abbazia line, infused with fresh basil leaves from the Abruzzo region. The infusion takes place immediately after harvesting, thus fully preserving the herb's essential oils.

In the glass, the oil displays a clear, golden-green color. The aroma combines ripe olive pulp with the characteristic basil note: mint, a hint of lemon, and a light peppery finish. The texture is smooth and light.

Versatile in the kitchen: use it over buffalo mozzarella with tomatoes, as a finishing touch on pasta with tomato sauce, or to flavor vinaigrettes. It also makes a great base for homemade pesto or for seasoning grilled fish and vegetables. Not suitable for heating – the aroma is best enjoyed cold or lukewarm.
