Occhione Toscana IGT

A Tuscan white wine that surprises with its slender fruit and lively freshness — uncomplicated in the best sense, without appearing pale.

The Occhione Toscana IGT comes from Tuscany, a region primarily known for its red grape varieties—making their success with white wines all the more interesting. The IGT (Indicazione Geografica Tipica) designation grants the winemaker freedom in grape variety selection, beyond the strict DOC regulations.

In the glass, the wine shines a bright yellow with brilliant reflections. The nose reveals ripe yellow fruits—mirabelle plum, quince—along with a distinct grapefruit note, signaling freshness and lightness. On the palate, it is lean yet surprisingly powerful, with a good balance between fruit and acidity. The finish has a soft, slightly creamy note reminiscent of Viognier—velvety without being heavy.
