Murgo Brut

The Murgo Brut is a Metodo Classico from Mount Etna, made from 100% Nerello Mascalese. A sparkling wine that carries its volcanic origin in a taut, mineral line.

Murgo stands for sparkling wine from Sicily, and the grapes for this Brut grow in high-altitude, volcanic vineyards on Mount Etna. The harvest takes place early to ensure freshness and precision are preserved. After fermentation, the wine matures for a long time on the lees. This is the source of the fine, persistent perlage and the depth in the glass.

On the nose, floral notes mingle with apple and citrus, accompanied by nuances of hazelnut and brioche. On the palate, it appears mineral, straightforward, and lean, carried by a lively acidity. The finish remains long.

Drink it well chilled at 6–8 °C. It is suitable as an aperitif, with raw fish, oysters, or fried seafood, and also with a plate of mild hard cheese.
