Madonna delle Vittorie Nosiola Bianco

Madonna delle Vittorie Nosiola Bianco
Nosiola is one of the rarest white grape varieties in Italy – almost exclusively found in Trentino and even there hardly widespread anymore. Those who drink it are drinking a piece of regional history.
Madonna delle Vittorie is one of the few wineries in Trentino that consistently cultivates Nosiola. The grape variety's name derives from the Italian word nocciola – hazelnut – and describes the characteristic coloring of the vine shoots in autumn.
In the glass, it displays a clear straw yellow color. The nose offers aromas of apple, ripe apricot, and a floral note reminiscent of elderflower. On the palate, the wine remains light and lively, with a crisp acidity that makes it fresh and very drinkable. No barrel, no oak – the fruit is clearly in the foreground, and the finish is clean and short.
