Madonna delle Vittorie Lagrein Kretzer Rose

Madonna delle Vittorie Lagrein Kretzer Rose
A rosé wine made from the Lagrein grape – this Kretzer stands in a long South Tyrolean tradition. Lagrein as a rosé wine (in German: Kretzer) means: all the fruit depth of the grape variety, but with the lightness of a pale, salmon-colored wine.
Madonna delle Vittorie lies in Trentino, nestled between the Dolomites and the gentle slopes above Lake Garda. The climate here – alpine coolness meets Mediterranean warmth – gives the Lagrein its distinctive acidity and, at the same time, ripe red fruit.
In the glass, it shines a delicate pink. The nose reveals aromas of raspberry and blood orange, along with a subtle floral note. On the palate, a lively acidity with a mineral edge unfolds, followed by a fresh and dry finish – not a cloying holiday rosé, but a structured companion.

The area around Lake Garda is ideal for grapevines. Not only the soil and the mild climate, but also the local air currents make all the difference: the "Ora del Garda" and "Pelér" winds ventilate the vines day and night. No mold, no pests. Add to that the temperature fluctuations, which perfectly develop the aromatic potential of the grapes. The Madonna delle Vittorie winery cultivates 26 hectares using the Guyot training system and creates fresh white wines, fragrant red wines, and sparkling wines such as the renowned Spumante Brut Trento DOC Metodo Classico.
