Etichetta Grigia Colli di Luni Vermentino DOC
A Vermentino from the Colli di Luni – that narrow coastal strip on the Ligurian-Tuscan border, where sea winds and limestone give the wine its characteristic profile.
The Lunae winery is one of the most renowned in the region. The Bosoni family has cultivated vineyards around the town of Lunae for decades and has made the Vermentino of this area internationally famous. The Etichetta Grigia – the "grey label" – is the classic entry point into their range: a single-varietal Vermentino, vinified for freshness and easy drinkability.
Straw yellow in the glass with golden reflections. On the nose, broom blossoms, white peach, and a hint of citrus peel. Fresh on the palate, with lively acidity and a slightly salty finish – typical of Vermentino from coastal areas.
Serving suggestion: Well chilled at 10–12 °C. Classic with linguine alle vongole, grilled sea bass, or Ligurian pesto on trofie pasta. Also convincing as an uncomplicated aperitif on the terrace. Drink now – this wine thrives on its freshness.
