Luce della Vite Brunello di Montalcino

The Luce della Vite displays a radiant, intense ruby red color. On the nose, this Super Tuscan presents a broad spectrum of aromas, including blueberry, sour cherry, and blackcurrant, in harmony with notes of spices such as tobacco, licorice, star anise, and cardamom, as well as hints of cocoa and coffee. On the palate, it is very dense and intense with velvety tannins and a refreshing acidity reminiscent of wild berries. Aging: 36 months, partly in oak barriques and partly in large Slavonian oak casks. French oak barriques, 10% new and 90% second-fill. Available upon request in the original three-bottle wooden case. Luce della Vite

Tenuta Luce della Vite – Tuscan high-altitude art. Southwest of Montalcino, the estate extends over 192 hectares, 55 of which are vineyards. 350 to 420 meters above sea level – one of the highest locations in the area. On Galestro soil, Sangiovese grows, and in deeper, clay- and sandier locations, Merlot. Long, hot summers, southern exposure, slow ripening – this results in concentrated, powerful wines. Sustainable agriculture, organic technologies, low yields (approx. 30 hl per hectare). Thinning, defoliation – everything to strengthen the character of the grape varieties and capture the essence of the terroir. Montalcino in its purest form.
