Lacoste Borie Pauillac

Lacoste Borie Pauillac is the second wine of Grand-Puy Lacoste. It is a well-defined blend of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Cabernet Franc, 8% Merlot, and 2% Petit Verdot. This deep red wine offers an opulent bouquet of berries and cassis, while oak aging imparts notes of vanilla and caramel, as well as hints of mint. A truly successful composition, a testament to French winemaking! Robert Parker 2018 90 points, xtraWine 2018 91 points.

Château Grand-Puy-Lacoste

Château Grand-Puy-Lacoste is one of the oldest and most enduring estates in the Médoc – a classic that truly deserves the title.

Nestled within the renowned Pauillac appellation, these wines bear a distinctive signature year after year: deep color, a delicate aromatic profile of ripe fruit, cassis, spices, and, with age, subtle notes of tobacco and cedar. The tannins are powerful – yet always silky.

François-Xavier Borie embodies a philosophy that harmonizes nature and skill. Patience is not just an empty word: eight to ten years of aging are what truly bring Grand-Puy-Lacoste to its full potential. A wine for those who understand that waiting is part of the enjoyment.
