La Rocaille Côtes du Rhône AOC

An uncomplicated Côtes du Rhône that delivers exactly what the region promises: ripe fruit, warmth and a pleasant drinking experience without any fuss.

Cellier des Princes is a renowned winegrowers' cooperative in the southern Rhône Valley, not far from Châteauneuf-du-Pape. The name La Rocaille refers to the stony subsoil – flat, pebbly soils that retain the day's heat and release it slowly at night. In addition, the Mistral wind cools the vines, ensuring aromatic freshness despite the warm climate.

In the glass, typical Rhône characteristics are evident: dark cherry, a touch of blackberry, a hint of lavender, and mild pepper in the background. The wine is medium-bodied, the tannins soft and well-integrated, the finish pleasantly short and fruity – ideal for uncomplicated everyday enjoyment.

Serving suggestion: Best served at 16–17 °C. Pairs well with pasta with tomato sauce, grilled sausages, lamb chops, or a simple cheese board. No need for long aging – drink now.
