Cellier des Princes –
Côtes du Rhône with responsibility since 1925
Cellier des Princes is one of the most traditional wine cooperatives in the Côtes du Rhône. More than 180 winegrower families contribute their grapes here – an association that has secured stable livelihoods for over 180 years while consistently developing the quality of the wines.
Sustainability at Cellier des Princes is not a marketing formula, but a lived reality: waste sorting, recyclable packaging, and a conscious approach to water are part of everyday operations. On the roof of the winery, 1,100 square meters of photovoltaics generate over 200 megawatt-hours of electricity per year – which corresponds to a CO₂ saving of around 142 tons annually.
What further distinguishes the cooperative is the commitment to passing on knowledge: through exhibitions, through the training of qualified employees, and through a viticulture that remains vibrant. The wines reflect this attitude – grounded, full of character, and connected to the terroir of the southern Rhône.
