Kitzer Dreisatz Rot trocken

Three sons, one line: The Dreisatz Rot from the Rheinhessen winery Kitzer was created as a joint project by master winemaker Hans-Friedrich Kitzer and his sons Björn, Tobias and Julian — and already bears this generational change in its name.

Rheinhessen is Germany's largest wine-growing region, known for its mild loess soils and a continental climate that offers excellent ripening conditions for red grape varieties such as Dornfelder, Pinot Noir, and the classic Portugieser. The Kitzer winery embodies the region's artisanal tradition, which is increasingly being reinterpreted by a younger generation.

In the glass, the Dreisatz Rot displays a deep ruby ​​color with violet reflections. On the palate, structured red fruit—blackberry, black cherry—is paired with soft tannins and a pleasant length. The finish is dry without being harsh.
