I Quattro Conti Tre Forte Puglia

I Quattro Conti Tre Forte Puglia
Three Apulian grape varieties, one wine: Tre Forte combines Negroamaro, Primitivo and Cabernet Sauvignon from Salento – one of the sunniest wine regions in Italy.
Behind the label is Conti Zecca , a family winery with a centuries-long history in the heart of Apulia. The family has cultivated their vineyards around Leverano for generations and is among the region's most renowned producers. The Tre Forte showcases what the deep south of Italy is capable of: fully ripe grapes, five days of maceration at a controlled 22°C – no over-extraction, but rather a conscious effort to bring out the fruity character of these grape varieties.
In the glass, it shines a deep ruby red. The nose offers black cherry and red currant, along with a hint of dark plum from the Primitivo grape. On the palate, it has a velvety texture, medium tannins, moderate acidity – approachable, well-rounded, with a pleasantly long finish.
Drinking suggestion: Drink now, until 2026. Serving temperature 16–18 °C. Pairs well with
- Pasta al ragù or Lasagne
- grilled lamb chops with rosemary
- mature Pecorino or Provolone
