Glenmorangie's 12-year-old Lasanta is a single malt whisky from the Highlands, displaying a golden, dark amber hue. It offers aromas of grape juice, vanilla, wood, and distinct sherry notes, along with a honey sweetness. On the palate, it is smooth, creamy, and oily, with hints of chocolate, raisins, and a touch of sherry sweetness. The finish is medium-long, complex, and warming. The Lasanta 12 Year Old matures for ten years in American white oak casks before spending a further two years in Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, which impart its fruity, sherry-like character.
