Finca Museum Museum Rosé Reserva Cigales DO

A rosé wine from the D.O. Cigales – one of Spain's oldest rosé wine regions, north of Valladolid on the Castilian high plateau. Finca Museum has specialized here in working with Tempranillo (locally: Tinto del País) and is one of the most well-known addresses in the appellation.

In the glass, the Reserva glows in a light salmon pink. The nose shows strawberry, white peach, and a hint of rose blossom – typical for Cigales rosés from this high altitude. On the palate, it presents itself fresh with lively acidity, a mineral undertone, and a medium-long, slightly spicy finish.

Reserva here means a longer maturation period than with simple vintage wines – this gives the wine more structure and depth without losing the fruit.

The Bodega

Finca Museum

Finca Museum is located in Cigales – a small wine region near Valladolid, which often stands in the shadow of its famous neighbor Ribera del Duero. Unjustly so. Here, ancient Tempranillo vines grow in a continental climate with hot summers and cool nights.

These extremes give the wine its character: deep fruit aroma, lively structure, and a depth that you feel in every sip. Finca Museum specializes in aged red wines – Crianza and Reserva, which have been given patience in the cellar.

The result is wines that are not loud, but convincing. Dark shining cherries, a hint of spice, velvety finish. Wine and art meet here literally: the bodega sees itself as a place where craftsmanship and creativity come together.
