Finca Museum Museum Rosé Reserva Cigales DO

A rosé wine from the DO Cigales – one of the oldest rosé wine regions in Spain, north of Valladolid on the Castilian plateau. Finca Museum specializes in working with Tempranillo (locally: Tinto del País) and is one of the most renowned producers in the appellation.

In the glass, the Reserva shines a bright salmon pink. The nose reveals strawberry, white peach, and a hint of rose petal – typical of Cigales rosés from this altitude. On the palate, it is fresh with lively acidity, a mineral undertone, and a medium-length, slightly spicy finish.

Reserva here means a longer maturation period than for simple vintage wines – this gives the wine more structure and depth without losing the fruit.

Finca Museum

Finca Museum is located in Cigales – a small wine region near Valladolid, often overshadowed by its famous neighbor Ribera del Duero. Unfairly so. Here, ancient Tempranillo vines thrive in a continental climate with hot summers and cool nights. These extremes give the wine its character: deep fruit aromas, vibrant structure, and a depth you can feel in every sip. Finca Museum specializes in mature red wines – Crianza and Reserva – that have been given ample time to age in the cellar. The result is wines that are not loud, but compelling. Dark, radiant cherries, a hint of spice, a velvety finish. Wine and art literally meet here: the winery sees itself as a place where craftsmanship and creativity converge.
