F...ing Truffle
Extra virgin olive oil flavored with white truffle — for everyone who wants to bring the earthy aroma of the world's most expensive tuber into their kitchen without using fresh truffles. The small glass bottle from Italy comes with a pipette: a few drops are enough; more would overpower a dish.
The flavor is earthy and slightly garlicky, with the typical musky note of Tuber magnatum. Drizzle over fresh pasta, scrambled eggs, or risotto— do not heat , as heat destroys the aroma. It's also delicious on burrata or shaved Parmesan. A dry, full-bodied white wine pairs well with it: a Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi or a mature Pinot Gris.
