El Meson Rioja Rosado DOCa

El Meson Rioja Rosado DOCa
An uncomplicated Rosé from Rioja that shows what Tempranillo and Garnacha can do together: clear fruit, dry palate, no frills.
The Bodega El Meson is located in the DOCa Rioja, one of the most famous wine regions in Spain. For this Rosado, Tempranillo and Garnacha come into the glass in equal parts – a classic combination where the structure of the Tempranillo meets the fruit-driven lightness of the Garnacha.
On the nose, strawberry and wild raspberry, plus a subtle floral note. In the mouth, dry and fresh, with lively acidity and a clean, short finish. No use of wood, no heaviness – a Rosé that is exactly what it wants to be.
Serving temperature: 8–10 °C. Pairs with grilled vegetables, paella, tapas with chorizo, or a simple tomato-mozzarella. Also a good choice as an uncomplicated summer evening wine without food.

The Spanish winery Bodega El Meson is located in the renowned Rioja region, specifically in the La Rioja Alavesa area. The winery's vineyards lie near the Ebro River and are characterized by calcareous and clay soils. The closer one gets to the river, the more the soils consist of alluvial deposits and gravel. The Atlantic climate is characterized by fresh mountain air and abundant sunshine, resulting in warm days and cool nights, providing optimal conditions. Bodega El Meson cultivates grape varieties such as Granacha, Tempranillo, and Viura for its wines.
