Domaine Salmon Sancerre Blanc

Sancerre is the benchmark for dry Sauvignon Blanc — and the Domaine Salmon Sancerre Blanc shows why: clear structure, mineral depth, not an ounce of excess.

Domaine Christian Salmon is located in the heart of the appellation, not far from Bué. The family has been cultivating grapes for generations on the region's typical Kimmeridge soils—calcareous clay marl that gives the wine its characteristic minerality. In the cellar, they focus on freshness: controlled temperatures, no oak aging, and rapid bottling to preserve the aromatics.

Pale yellow in the glass with greenish reflections. The nose opens with lemon zest, white grapefruit, and a hint of fresh mint. On the palate, a lively acidity is evident, supported by lime fruit and a fine, almost salty minerality on the finish—typical of the flint soils of the appellation.
