Domaine Salmon Sancerre Blanc

Sancerre is the reference area for dry Sauvignon Blanc — and the Domaine Salmon Sancerre Blanc shows why: clear structure, mineral depth, not a gram of the superfluous.

Domaine Christian Salmon is located in the heart of the appellation, not far from Bué. The family has been cultivating the region's typical Kimmeridgian soils for generations — calcareous clay marl that gives the wine its characteristic minerality. In the cellar, they work for freshness: controlled temperatures, no oak aging, quick bottling to preserve the aromatics.

In the glass, light yellow with greenish reflections. The nose opens with lemon zest, white grapefruit, and a hint of fresh mint. On the palate, a lively acidity is shown, supported by lime fruit and a fine, almost salty minerality on the finish — typical for the flint soils of the appellation.
