Domaine Bousquet Malbec Grande Reserve (organic)
Malbec from the highlands of the Mendoza Andes, organically cultivated at an altitude of around 1,200 meters – where cooler nights and intense UV radiation ensure natural aroma concentration. Domaine Bousquet, founded by the French family of the same name, is among the pioneers of biodynamic wine production in Argentina.
The Grande Reserve matures for 12 months in a mix of new and used French oak barrels and spends a further 12 months in the bottle before release. The nose reveals ripe plum, black cherry, and a hint of violet, underpinned by roasted aromas and dark chocolate. On the palate, it is full-bodied with supple tannins and a long, fruity finish. James Suckling awarded the 2021 vintage 93 points .
Serving temperature: 16–18 °C. Drinking window until 2029. Pairs well with braised beef cheek, leg of lamb or a strong Manchego cheese.
