Corton Charlemagne AC Grand Cru 0.75L

The Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru is one of the most coveted white sites in Burgundy — a Chardonnay that combines minerality and depth in one glass. Maison Joseph Drouhin, based in Beaune since 1880, is one of the most reliable interpreters of this appellation and manages parcels on the Montagne de Corton with the claim of classic Burgundian craftsmanship.

The wine glows in intense gold in the glass. The nose opens with aromas of fresh almond, citrus, and rose, plus honey nuances and a hint of exotic fruit. On the palate, it shows the typical structure of a great white Burgundy: dense, with lively acidity, creamy texture, and a long, minerally-influenced finish.

Serving temperature 12–14 °C. At the table, it pairs with scallops with saffron sauce, lobster, sweetbreads, or aged Comté — dishes that do not mask the complexity of the wine, but mirror it.
