Conde Villar Alentejo Tinto DO
The Conde Villar Alentejano Tinto comes from one of Portugal's most exciting wine regions: the Alentejo , a vast high plateau in the south of the country, where intense sunshine and a continental climate produce deep fruity, characterful red wines.
In the glass, it shines a rich ruby red. The nose opens with inviting aromas of blackberry, blueberry, and black cherry , underscored by a hint of ripe plum and a subtle floral note. On the palate, the wine is pleasantly soft and rounded – velvety tannins and well-integrated acidity ensure harmony and drinkability. The finish is medium-long, fruity, and pleasantly lingering.
Quinta das Arcas – that's family tradition you can taste. Since 1985, this Portuguese winery has been cultivating wines in the Vinho Verde and Alentejo regions that are true discoveries: fresh, vibrant, and full of character.
Founded by António Edwards Monteiro, Quinta das Arcas continues to stand for careful, sustainable practices in harmony with nature – from the crisp and refreshing Vinho Verde to the aromatic rosé from the sun-drenched Alentejo region. An organically produced sparkling wine made using the traditional method is also part of their portfolio.
In short: wines that tell the story of Portugal in all its diversity.
