Château Leboscq Medoc Cru Bourgeois

The Lapalu family, like ancient vines, is deeply rooted in the soil of the Médoc and has been producing red Bordeaux wines at reasonable prices for five decades. "Le Boscq" geographically means a hill or a hilltop. Château Leboscq was built on a hilltop in Saint Christoly, Gironde. The vineyards of Château Leboscq are climatically favored, so the grapes have always ripened earlier than those of neighboring vineyards. Château Leboscq wines have a good consistency in the classic style with good freshness on the palate and pronounced fruit aromas. This wine is made from 62% Cabernet Sauvignon, 26% Merlot, as well as Cabernet Franc and a touch of Petit Verdot. It is remarkably concentrated with lush aromas of blackcurrants and raspberries, ripe fruit, and hints of spring flowers, forest floor, and chocolate. On the palate, it offers a medium to full body, again rich and pleasantly long on the finish. Drink this wine within the next 7-8 years. Wine Enthusiast: 88 points

Domaines Lapalu

In the Médoc and Haut-Médoc, the Lapalu family has been managing their wineries since 1964. What is created here bears the signature of people who truly know their soil.

On the characteristic soils of the Médoc grow grapes that are vinified into tannin-rich, age-worthy wines with true personality – aromatic, clear, and unmistakably characterized by Cabernet Sauvignon.
