Domaines Lapalu
In the heart of Beaujolais, on the Route de Brouilly in Quincié-en-Beaujolais , the Lapalu family has been cultivating their vineyard since 1985 – now in its fifth generation. What is produced here bears the signature of people who truly know their land.
On granitic and calcareous-loamy soils , grapes thrive without chemical treatment. For Lapalus, sustainable viticulture is not a marketing slogan, but a lived conviction. The result: red and white wines with genuine personality – aromatic, clear, and unmistakably Beaujolaisque.
Domaines Lapalu –
Beaujolais with its feet on the ground
Domaines Lapalu is located on the Route de Brouilly in Quincié-en-Beaujolais – in the heart of the Beaujolais region, where granite and calcareous clay soils give the wines their distinct, unique character. The Lapalu family has been cultivating their vineyard here since 1985, now in its fifth generation. This translates into decades of accumulated knowledge about every slope, every soil, every row of vines.
Chemical treatments are not used on the Lapalus vineyards – not as a concession to a trend, but because the family is convinced that healthy soils produce the most honest wines. What is created in the cellar reflects this: red and white wines with aromatic clarity, unmistakably Beaujolaisque – fruity, but never shallow, with the mineral backbone that good granite Gamay brings.
Those who drink Lapalus wines do not get a polished branded wine, but the result of work that begins on the soil and ends in the glass – without detours.
