Chateau Le Temple

Château Le Temple lies in the heart of the Médoc – a region where winemaking is not a matter of trend, but a matter of attitude. Here, among old vines and Bordeaux tranquility, wines are created that tell the story of their terroir: profound, structured, and with an elegance that cannot be forced.

The blends of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot demonstrate what the Médoc is truly about – power with finesse, maturity without heaviness. Wines that deserve time and reward time in return.

Château Le Temple –
Médoc-Bordeaux with depth and structure

Château Le Temple lies in the northern Médoc , far from the major appellations, but close to the very essence of Bordeaux: heavy gravel soils, an Atlantic climate, and vines that have learned to root deeply. The wines are made from classic Médoc grape varieties – Cabernet Sauvignon as the backbone, Merlot for richness and approachability.

What distinguishes Le Temple's cuvées is their approach: no over-extraction, no excessive oak, but wines that let their terroir speak for itself. Fine tannins, dark fruit, a long finish with a mineral note – that's the house style. Wines that are enjoyable young, but gain in complexity with five to ten years of cellaring.

Recommended with braised lamb loin, entrecôte, or a mature Comté cheese. If you're looking for Bordeaux without the premium for the name, this is an honest place to go.
