Champagne de Saint Gall Tradition Premier Cru Brut 1.5L

A Premier Cru Champagne in a large format: The Magnum Tradition Brut from Champagne de Saint Gall stands for clear fruit, fine perlage, and a dry, straightforward style. Ideal when several glasses need to be filled.

Champagne de Saint Gall is the brand house of the Union Champagne cooperative in Avize on the Côte des Blancs. The grapes for the Tradition come from Premier Cru vineyards in Champagne. It is aged in steel tanks, which preserves the freshness of the fruit and gives the wine a precise, light-hearted profile. Bottle fermentation in the 1.5-liter bottle traditionally proceeds more slowly than in a standard bottle, which benefits the fineness of the perlage.

In the glass, you can expect aromas of citrus, green apple, and white peach, along with a light brioche note. On the palate, it is fresh and lively, with a creamy mousse and a dry, clear finish.

Serve it at 7 to 9 °C as an aperitif, with oysters, fried fish, or gougères. The magnum also brings something special to the table visually at parties, family celebrations, and dinner invitations.

Champagne de Saint Gall

Champagne de Saint Gall stands for something rare in Champagne: a true collective effort. Over 2,000 winemakers from 15 cooperatives bring their best grapes together here – all from Grand Cru and Premier Cru sites. Since 1966, the Union Champagne has united this collective knowledge and passed it on from generation to generation.

The result: Champagnes of great purity and elegance that you can feel in every glass. The winemakers are particularly passionate about Chardonnay – and you can tell. The Blanc de Blancs cuvées show this grape variety in its purest form: fresh, fine, with plenty of character. But Pinot Noir also gets the attention it deserves here.
