Cape of Good Hope Serruria Chardonnay

A dry Chardonnay from the Western Cape that brings freshness and creaminess together. The Serruria from Cape of Good Hope comes from the Western Cape in South Africa, where Chardonnay has long been at home and stands for clear fruit and lively acidity.

On the nose, delicate notes of nectarine and limestone appear, along with a hint of vanilla pastry and orange peel. On the palate, it starts with energy: clear, zesty lime and orange notes, carried by a lively acidity. Then it becomes broader, but remains restrained, with fine, creamy nuttiness and a light vanilla tone. Fruit and acidity are in balance, and the finish lingers long on the palate.

Serve it at 8–10 °C. It pairs well with roasted chicken, cod with beurre blanc, pasta with lemon cream sauce, or mild goat cheese. It also makes a good impression in the glass on its own in the evening.
