Cape Of Good Hope Riebeeksrivier Chenin Blanc

Cape Of Good Hope Riebeeksrivier Chenin Blanc is a white wine from the Swartland region of the Western Cape in South Africa. This wine is part of the "Cape of Good Hope" line from the Anthonij Rupert winery and is made exclusively from 100% Chenin Blanc grapes grown from deep-rooted, sometimes old bush vines along the Riebeeksrivier river.

Visually, it displays a pale straw yellow color with delicate green reflections. On the nose, the Chenin Blanc is fruity and aromatic with juicy aromas of pear, apple, peach, nectarine, apricot, and citrus fruits, accompanied by subtle floral notes, fine minerality, and a hint of vanilla or nut, which comes from some aging in French oak. On the palate, the wine is fresh, lively, and juicy, with clear but well-balanced acidity, a creamy texture, and a long, mineral-salty finish.

This wine is typically served at around 8–10 °C and pairs perfectly with fish, seafood, grilled vegetables, Asian-inspired dishes, or mild, young cheeses. Thanks to its balance of freshness, fruit, and subtle oak complexity, it is suitable both as an everyday wine and for aging for several years.
