Brancaia Chianti Classico DOCG 0.75L

A Sangiovese that showcases the Chianti Classico region in an uncomplicated way: fruity and fresh, with the typical spice of Tuscany — and organically certified.

Brancaia has been cultivating vineyards in Chianti Classico and the Maremma since the 1980s. The soils between Radda and Gaiole, characterized by Galestro schist and Alberese limestone, give the Sangiovese its distinctive minerality and freshness. Organic farming is not a marketing decision for Brancaia, but rather a core part of their philosophy, established over many years.

In the glass, the wine displays clear cherry and sour cherry aromas, along with notes of dried herbs and a hint of violet—typical for Sangiovese from this altitude. The body is lean, the tannins soft and well-integrated, the acidity lively without harshness. The finish is short to medium-long, spicy and fresh.

Ready to drink now and within the next two to three years. Serving temperature: 16–18 °C. Pairs well with pasta al ragù, grilled lamb chops, pecorino cheese, or an antipasti platter with salumi.
