Amaretto Morbido 'A Caramella'

Soft Amaretti from Piedmont: Tre Fontane bakes them as Amaretto Morbido 'A Caramella', intended for snacking individually. The small manufactory near Gavi works according to an old recipe with first-class raw materials. Owner Bruno la Rosa, a quiet confectioner, has one standard: the good should always be consistently good.

Good Amaretti contain plenty of ground almonds. The crumb is correspondingly delicate and soft, the almond aroma is in the foreground, and the sweetness remains restrained. They are a great accompaniment to espresso, as well as a glass of Vin Santo or a Moscato d'Asti. They also work well crumbled over vanilla ice cream or peaches.

The Producer

Tre Fontane

Located on the slopes of the Ligurian Apennines, the Tre Fontane confectionery takes up the Italian confectionery tradition with old recipes from master confectioners and places great value on the quality and freshness of the raw materials: the best Apulian almonds, the famous Piedmontese hazelnuts, the chocolate that has its capital in Turin.

Founded in 1993 by the current owner Tre Fontane, the company has developed from a small outlet for soft Amaretti cookies into a company that exports its products all over the world.
