Acoustic Celler Ritme Priorat

Albert Jané vinifies this red wine in the DOQ Priorat – one of Spain's most demanding appellations, characterized by Llicorella slate and barren slopes. The Ritme is Jané's more approachable entry into Priorat: full of character, but without the austerity of some of the region's top single-vineyard wines.

Ten months of aging in French oak barrels impart a subtle toasty and spicy note to the fruit without overpowering it. The nose offers dark berries, a hint of licorice, and smoky depth. On the palate, it is dense yet pleasantly balanced – acidity and tannins support the fruit without dominating. The 2013 vintage was awarded 90 Parker points and 92 points in the Guía Peñin.

Open for 20 minutes before pouring; a short decanting is recommended. Serving temperature 16–18 °C. Pairs well with oven-roasted lamb shoulder, Ibérico chorizo, or aged Manchego cheese.
