Abstinence Cape Citrus is a non-alcoholic spirit from South Africa that packs the character of the Western Cape into a glass: fresh, aromatically complex, and with a clear line from the nose to the finish.

Behind the Abstinence brand is the South African distillery Curated Beverages, which specializes in non-alcoholic alternatives to classic spirits. The focus is on the ambition to create depth and complexity without alcohol — with botanicals that come directly from the Cape region.

In the foreground is citrus fruit, lively and clear. Beneath this lie Buchu — a typically South African plant with a slightly minty-herbal note — as well as pepper and fennel, which give the profile spice and structure. Dark cassis notes round off the whole thing and provide a soft, connecting depth in the finish.

Best served with high-quality tonic water and fresh citrus peel — as an aperitif or for anyone who wants to forgo alcohol in the evening but not taste. Serving temperature: well chilled, 6–8 °C.

Your event tickets now arrive via QR code

Ticket email with two links and a ticket with QR code, name and "Guest 1 of 2"

For our events, you will now receive a separate ticket for every seat — with a QR code, sent directly by email after purchase. At the entrance, simply show the code on your phone, and you are in.

  • One ticket per person. If you buy three tickets, you will receive three links — 'Guest 1 of 3' to 'Guest 3 of 3'. Each link is an individual ticket. If you are arriving separately, simply forward the links to your companions.
  • By email, once paid. The 'Your tickets' email arrives automatically after payment. You can also find your tickets at any time in your customer account under 'Events'.
  • Phone or paper. The QR code works just as well from a screen as it does printed out. On the ticket page, there is a 'Print / save as PDF' button for this purpose — including the date, time, and address.
  • Invited? If we have invited you as a guest, you will receive your ticket the same way after you have accepted. The ticket will then state 'As our guest · Free admission'.
  • At the entrance. We scan the code; each ticket is valid once. If you don't have your phone, the team at the entrance can also find you by your name — so you will get in regardless.
