Aalto Blanco de Parcela Fuente de las Hontanillas 0.75L
A white wine from the Ribera del Duero area that shows the region is capable of more than just Tempranillo: The Aalto Blanco de Parcela comes from high-altitude individual plots and combines Verdejo, Godello, and Albillo into a dry white wine with a clear signature.
Bodegas Aalto was founded in 1999 by Mariano García and Javier Zaccagnini — two names that stand for uncompromising quality standards in the Ribera del Duero. The white wine project "Fuente de las Hontanillas" is a rarity in the portfolio: single vineyards at high altitude, where the temperature fluctuations between day and night sharpen the aromatics and preserve the natural acidity.
In the glass, the wine shows the characteristic freshness of high altitudes: citrus peel, white peach, and a floral tone contributed by the Albillo portion. The palate is tightly structured, with lively acidity and a mineral, slightly salty finish. Not a heavy, opulent style — but a precise, exciting white wine with real character.
Best served at 8–10 °C, it pairs well with grilled sea bass, scallops with lemon butter, or a young Manchego. Also a good choice as a standalone aperitif.
