3-bottle wooden crate Vintage Cirsion DOCa Rioja 1x0.75L each, vintages 2016, 2017, 2018

Three vintages, one crate: The "Vintage Cirsion" wooden crate combines Cirsion from the years 2016, 2017, and 2018 from Bodegas Roda, 0.75 liters each. This allows you to follow side-by-side how the same vineyard site shows itself in three different years.

Bodegas Roda is one of the defining names of modern Rioja. Cirsion is only produced in selected years from strictly selected parcels and is made from Tempranillo. The wine is vinified dry and is considered the house's top wine.

In the glass, dark berries and cherry appear, along with floral nuances. Beneath them lie cocoa, licorice, and fine spice from noble oak. The fruit is concentrated, the texture silky and precise. You can best notice how strong the fruit, spice, and structure are per vintage in a direct comparison.

Recommendation: Decant the wines briefly and serve them at 16–18 °C. They pair well with rack of lamb, braised beef, or long-aged Manchego. The crate is suitable for a tasting with friends or as a gift for Rioja lovers.

The Bodega

Bodegas Roda

Bodegas RODA is no ordinary winery. In the late 1980s, the Rotllant Daurella family came to Rioja with the clear intention of creating something lasting. The result is one of the most exciting wineries in Spain.

High above Haro's railway station district, wines are produced that bring out the best in old Tempranillo vines: SELA as an approachable entry point, RODA for deep red fruit, RODA I for dark power and freshness – and CIRSION for truly great moments. A winery that knows its roots and yet always looks to the future.
