The large volcanic rock at the heart of the vineyards continues to shape the character of the wines. Since 1992, the estate has experienced a renaissance under AXA Millésimes. 104 contiguous hectares, once owned by nobility, are now one of the few Tokaji wineries with a unified terroir. Volcanic soils of rhyolite and tuff lend the wines their distinctive complexity. Here, Furmint grapes mature into exquisitely sweet masterpieces – botrytis, fruity purity, and vibrant freshness. “The Wine of Kings” – this title is truly lived out here every day.
