Santa Carolina

Santa Carolina is a Chilean winery founded in 1875 by Luis Pereyra Cotapos. Its main location is in the heart of Santiago, Chile, surrounded by six distinct wine-growing regions: Casablanca Valley, Leyda Valley, Maipo Valley, Cashapoal Valley, Colchagua Valley, and Maule Valley. Due to its proximity to the Pacific Ocean and the Andes Mountains, the region experiences diverse climatic conditions, with some regions having relatively cool summers and winters, while others enjoy mild winters and hot summers. Santa Carolina cultivates grape varieties such as Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Merlot, and Shiraz in its vineyards.

Between the Pacific Ocean and the Andes –
Santa Carolina since 1875

Founded in Santiago in 1875, Santa Carolina sources its grapes from six Chilean regions – from the cool sea air of the Casablanca Valley to the sun-drenched slopes of the Colchagua Valley. This climatic diversity shapes varieties such as Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Shiraz, each with distinctly different characteristics.
