Château Labégorce

Château Labégorce is located directly on the famous Route des Châteaux in Margaux – sandwiched between Château Margaux and Lascombes, surrounded by 70 hectares of vineyards on sandy-gravelly soils.

Since 1989, the Perrodo family has run the winery with great passion and a deep understanding of the terroir. The result is wines that showcase Margaux at its finest: charming, finely structured, with vibrant fruit expression. The classic Bordeaux blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot matures for 12 to 14 months in barriques – precise, without exaggeration.

Chateau Labegorce Margaux Cru Bourgeois

Château Labégorce –
Margaux between tradition and terroir

Château Labégorce lies in the heart of Margaux , directly on the Route des Châteaux – flanked by Château Margaux and Lascombes. The 70 hectares of vineyards on sandy-gravelly soils give the wines their typical lightness: a fine, almost silky texture that makes Margaux so distinctive.

The Perrodo family has owned the winery since 1989. Their approach is clear: to let the terroir speak for itself without overpowering it. The classic Bordeaux blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot matures for 12 to 14 months in barriques – long enough for structure and depth, short enough to preserve its vibrant fruit expression.

The result is wines with vibrant cherry and cassis notes, subtly spiced, and with a long, velvety finish. Ideal with lamb loin, duck breast, or a mature Comté cheese – and, if properly aged, enjoyable for years to come.
