Bodegas Fontana lies in the heart of Spain's Castilla-La Mancha region – a land of wide plains, intense sunshine, and soils that inspire exceptional vines. What is produced here is not a wine for quiet contemplation: powerful, full of character, and with a warmth you can almost feel.
The winery focuses on indigenous varieties such as Bobal and Tempranillo – grapes that embody the essence of this landscape. The result is wines with genuine expression: fruity, spicy, with depth without heaviness.

Bodegas Fontana –
Bobal & Tempranillo from the heart of Castile
Bodegas Fontana is located in Castilla-La Mancha, one of Spain's most extensive wine regions: vast plateaus, over 300 days of sunshine a year, and barren soils of lime and clay that force vines to root deeply. These conditions shape every wine that is created here – direct, substantial, without detours.
The bodega consistently relies on indigenous varieties. Bobal, one of the oldest grape varieties on the Iberian Peninsula, brings dark berry fruit, lively acidity, and a natural freshness that one does not always expect in this region. Tempranillo complements the portfolio with structure and spicy depth – both varieties reflect the landscape from which they originate.
What distinguishes Fontana is the combination of regional self-confidence and artisanal care: no international style copies, but wines with their own face. Whether with grilled lamb, aged Manchego, or a simple evening with good company – these wines do not need a special occasion.
