A clear Williams fruit brandy from Austria that focuses entirely on the fully ripe Williams Christ pear and brings its fruit into the glass unadulterated.

Gölles is one of the well-known master distillers in Styria and is based in Riegersburg in the Styrian volcanic region. Like hardly any other distiller, the Williams pear is a fixed part of their repertoire there because it carries its juicy sweetness and fruitiness so clearly into the distillate. The 0.35-liter bottle is well-suited for getting to know the brandy at your leisure or for giving as a gift.

In the glass, the ripe pear is in the foreground: juicy, full-bodied, and clearly defined. If you like fruit brandies, you get a pear here that tastes like pear, without detours. Drink it neat from a brandy glass at about 12 to 16 °C, then the fruit comes into its own best. It works as a digestif after a meal, with vanilla ice cream, or alongside a warm pear tart.
