Vin de Constance noble sweet 0.5L

Vin de Constance from Klein Constantia is one of the world's great dessert wines – and a living link to one of the oldest wine legends of all time. This lusciously sweet wine from the heart of South Africa's Cape region was once Napoleon's favorite and today finds its way into the glasses of all those who appreciate sweetness with depth and history.

In the glass, it displays a bright, vibrant golden yellow. The nose opens with an alluring interplay of Seville orange marmalade, quince, and candied ginger , complemented by ripe stone fruit, red apple, and a delicate toffee note. A fine, floral perfume permeates the entire bouquet, lending it an almost ethereal elegance.

On the palate, the wine is surprisingly fresh and vibrant – full-bodied yet silky, with a texture reminiscent of liquid silk. The complex aromas from the nose continue seamlessly, lingering long and harmoniously on the finish. Aging for three years in a combination of new French oak, Hungarian oak, and French acacia gives the wine its structured framework without masking its fruity vibrancy.

The handy 0.5-liter bottle is ideal for two glasses when sharing with friends or enjoying a romantic evening for two. Serve it well chilled at around 8–10 °C – as an accompaniment to blue cheese, foie gras terrine, or dark chocolate , or simply on its own, after dinner when the conversation slows.

Klein Constantia

Klein Constantia – one of South Africa's most important historic wine estates. Jan van Riebeeck was the first to bring vines to the Cape, and the first wine was produced here in the Company Gardens. The unique location, the climate, the soils – ideal for terroir wines. Today, Klein Constantia relies on simple winemaking techniques to get the best from expertly tended vineyards. The result: high-quality wines characterized by elegance, minerality, and balance. As a WWF Conservation member, the estate adheres to the World Wildlife Fund's statutes – environmentally friendly and biodynamic. Cape wines with history and conviction.
