Villa Santa Flavia Pinot Grigio DOC Magnum

Villa Santa Flavia Pinot Grigio DOC Magnum
An uncomplicated Pinot Grigio from the Veneto – fresh, light-footed, and in a magnum bottle made for gatherings where a 0.75-liter bottle would simply be too little.
Villa Santa Flavia produces in the northeastern Italian DOC region, where Pinot Grigio develops its classic lightness on calcareous soils between the Alpine foothills and the Adriatic coast. The region is one of Italy's most productive white wine areas – with a style that prioritizes accessibility over complexity.
In the glass, the wine shows a pale gold color with greenish reflections. On the nose, green apple, pear, and a hint of lemon zest, plus a subtle herbal spice. On the palate, it is light-bodied, with fresh acidity and a short, clean finish. 12% ABV makes it a carefree companion for long evenings.
Serving temperature: 8–10 °C. Not a wine for aging, but one to open soon.
- Antipasti, bruschetta, light appetizers
- Grilled sea bass or sea bream
- Goat cheese, mozzarella, Caprese
- Summer pasta with lemon and herbs
The 1.5-liter magnum cools down more slowly and maintains its temperature longer – practical at the table, good for larger groups.
