Villa Santa Flavia Pinot Grigio DOC Magnum

Villa Santa Flavia Pinot Grigio DOC Magnum
An uncomplicated Pinot Grigio from Veneto – fresh, light-footed and in the magnum bottle made for gatherings where a 0.75-liter bottle would simply be too little.
Villa Santa Flavia produces its wines in the northeastern Italian DOC region, where Pinot Grigio develops its classic lightness on calcareous soils between the foothills of the Alps and the Adriatic coast. The region is among the most productive white wine-growing areas in Italy – with a style that prioritizes approachability over complexity.
In the glass, the wine displays a pale gold color with greenish reflections. The nose offers aromas of green apple, pear, and a hint of lemon zest, along with subtle herbal spice. On the palate, it is light-bodied with fresh acidity and a short, clean finish. At 12% ABV, it's an easy-drinking companion for long evenings.
Serving temperature: 8–10 °C. Drinking window: now until 2026 – not a wine for aging, but one to be opened soon.
- Antipasti, bruschetta, light appetizers
- Grilled sea bass or sea bream
- Goat cheese, mozzarella, Caprese
- Summer pasta with lemon and herbs
The 1.5-liter Magnum cools down more slowly and retains the temperature longer – practical at the table, good for larger groups.
