Vermouth La Madre Rosé
A Spanish vermouth that consistently expands the classic recipe with a fruity dimension: La Madre Rosé is based on a macerate of more than 24 herbs, to which dried strawberry extract is added as a defining element. The mixture matures in wooden barrels before being blended with wine.
In the glass, it's pale with a pinkish hue. The nose offers distinct strawberry aromas, followed by vermouth and fresh herbs. On the palate, it's subtly sweet, slightly liqueur-like, with a fresh, tart, and savory finish—not a liqueur, but a well-balanced aperitif.
Neat on ice with an orange slice, as a base for a Spritz, or in a Negroni as an alternative to classic Rosso. Pairs well with olives, Jamón, and mild Manchego cheese.

La Madre from Spain proves: Vermouth can be much more than a dusty aperitif from yesterday. The brand from Batea, Tarragona consciously breaks with conventions – and you can taste it.
Whether Rojo, Blanco or Rosé: every variant has its own character. Herbaceous, spicy, with that typical Southern European lightness that immediately makes you think of sunny terraces. Simply a glass, a few ice cubes, a slice of orange – done.
La Madre makes Vermouth accessible without diminishing it. There is real craftsmanship here.
