The Numero 1 extra dry from P.J. Valckenberg is a Riesling-Sekt for those who like it fresh and lively: citrus and green apple are the focus, carried by a fine perlage.

P.J. Valckenberg is one of the traditional names among German wine and Sekt producers. For this sparkling wine, the Riesling grape variety is at the forefront, giving it its clear acidity line and taut fruit. The flavor profile extra dry means: slightly more residual sugar than a Brut, which rounds off the acidity and makes the Sekt accessible.

The nose shows citrus fruits and green apple. On the palate, it is light and balanced; the fruit remains juicy, and the acidity provides freshness right through to the finish.

Serve it at about 8 °C. It works as an aperitif, at a sparkling wine reception, or at the bar, as well as with light appetizers like smoked salmon blinis, fresh goat cheese, or a salad with citrus dressing.
