TOCOCO Syrah

A Syrah from the Elqui Valley that shows what this remote high-altitude region in northern Chile is capable of: intense aromas, spice and a tannin structure that clearly tastes of granite.

The Elqui Valley lies at an altitude of over 1,000 meters, nestled in the Andes Mountains. The extreme temperature fluctuations between day and night preserve the aromatics of the grapes and give the wines an unusual freshness for these latitudes. The TOCOCO Syrah perfectly reflects this: a vibrant, intense nose with plenty of spice—pepper, herbs, a hint of meat. On the palate, pomegranate and black cherry follow, supported by firm tannins with a mineral, granite-like character. The finish is long and lingering, like the valley itself.

Serve it at 16–18 °C with grilled lamb chops with chimichurri, beef stew, or a strong hard cheese. It's also delicious on its own after a long day.
