Tianna Bocchoris Negre
The aroma of Tianna Bocchoris Negre is intensely floral with notes of violets, black and balsamic fruits, and subtle toasty hints. On the palate, it displays a good tannin structure with ample juiciness and flow, and a perfect balance between acidity and alcohol. Controlled fermentation and a 38-day maceration with pump-overs, bazoqueos, and delestages lend the wine structure and complexity. A portion of the Manto Negro and Syrah is fermented in 5,000-liter French oak barrels to impart more fruitiness and freshness to the blend. Aging takes place in selected barrels of the finest French oak brands, 30% of which are new and the remainder second-fill, for approximately eight months. The wine is bottled unfiltered.

Celler Tianna Negre – a project of the Morey-Garau family and Bodegas Túnel. What began in a garage became their own winery in 2007. Equipped with the latest technology to treat the grapes with care and respect the environment, the family comes from Consell, a town with a long winemaking tradition. Their first vineyard is over 35 years old. Today, the winery owns 35 hectares in the Raiguer region. The soil: Call Vermell – an iron-rich, clayey, red limestone, perfect for a Mediterranean climate with hot summers and mild winters.
