Tejca Vedrignano II Cru
A Chardonnay from Slovenia's most famous wine region – precisely vinified, with real depth behind the bright fruit.
Goriska Brda , located directly on the Italian border with Friuli, is one of the most exciting white wine regions in Central Europe. The hilly landscape of flysch sandstone and calcareous marl soils gives Chardonnay a mineral foundation that distinguishes it from more opulent Burgundies. Domaine Vicomte de Noüe-Marinič cultivates its vineyards biodynamically – an approach that avoids synthetic interventions in the vineyard and prioritizes soil health.
In the glass, the Vedrignano II Cru displays aromas of citrus peel, yellow apple, and a hint of white blossom. The palate is firm, with lively acidity and a long, slightly salty finish – typical of the flysch soils of the Brda region.
