Stellenrust Sauvignon Blanc

Fresh, aromatic and with a clear line: the Sauvignon Blanc from Stellenrust shows what the Stellenbosch terroir can achieve with this grape variety.

Stellenrust is located in the heart of Stellenbosch, one of South Africa's most prestigious wine regions. The winery processes grapes from its own vineyards and is known for approachable, varietally typical wines that combine fruit clarity with a well-structured framework.

In the glass, the wine displays a pale yellow color with green reflections. The nose is dominated by elderflower and gooseberry, complemented by tropical notes of pineapple and guava. On the palate, it offers lively acidity, medium body, and no unpleasant residual sugar—the finish is spicy and refreshingly short. Tim Atkin's 91 points (2018 vintage) confirm its varietal quality.
