Stellenrust Sauvignon Blanc

Stellenrust Sauvignon Blanc
Fresh, aromatic, and with a clear line: the Sauvignon Blanc from Stellenrust shows what the Stellenbosch terroir can achieve with this grape variety.
Stellenrust is located in the heart of Stellenbosch, one of South Africa's most renowned wine regions. The winery processes grapes from its own vineyards and is known for accessible, varietal-typical wines that combine fruit clarity with a well-structured framework.
In the glass, the wine shows a pale yellow color with green reflections. On the nose, elderflower and gooseberry dominate, complemented by tropical tones of pineapple and guava. On the palate, lively acidity, medium body, no disturbing residual sugar — the finish is spicy and stimulatingly short. 91 points from Tim Atkin (2018 vintage) confirm the varietal quality.
- Food: Goat cheese, ceviche, fried asparagus, Thai curry with coconut milk
