Ron Pampero Blanco Rum from Venezuela

Ron Pampero Blanco Rum from Venezuela
A mild, approachable white rum from Venezuela — clearly filtered, pleasantly sweet and with the characteristic profile that has made Pampero one of the most famous rums in Latin America for decades.
Pampero was founded in Caracas in 1938 and is one of the traditional brands of Venezuelan rum. The distillery uses molasses from locally grown sugar cane and employs Cuban-influenced distillation methods—resulting in a light, aromatic, and easy-drinking rum. The Blanco is briefly aged in oak barrels and then filtered, which gives it its clear color.
On the nose, a light sugarcane aroma with a hint of white fruit. On the palate, it displays a subtle sweetness, some tropical fruit, and a smooth, short finish—without the harshness of many unaged white rums. Not a complex, standalone distillate, but a reliably clean rum for mixed drinks.
Pampero Blanco shines best in classic cocktails: Daiquiri (45 ml rum, 25 ml lime juice, 15 ml simple syrup), Mojito , or as the base for a Raspberry Smash with fresh raspberries. Serving temperature: well chilled, ideally over ice.

In 1938, Alejandro Hernández and Luis Toro possessed the desire, determination, and entrepreneurial spirit to pursue a new approach to rum production. The result would astonish the world and forever change the history of Venezuelan rum. Pampero™ was born in a colonial house in Caracas, a city with exceptional geographical and climatic characteristics. Hernández and Toro recognized that the available ingredients and the climate created by the combination of mountains, jungle, and coastline produced an almost magical blend, the charm of which could be felt in every drop of this extraordinary spirit.
