Réserve Royale Saperavi QW Georgia 0.75L
Saperavi is one of the few red wine grapes in the world with red pulp — this gives it a natural depth of color and tannin structure that hardly any other variety achieves. Château Mukhrani hits the mark with this dry Réserve Royale: powerful ruby red in the glass, a wine with substance.
The winery is located in Kartli, the historical heart of Georgia, about 30 kilometers west of Tbilisi. For centuries, the region was the seat of the Georgian royal house — Château Mukhrani itself goes back to a 19th-century princely palace and is today one of the country's most famous addresses. The combination of continental climate, mineral-rich soil, and the autochthonous Saperavi grape results in red wines with character and aging potential.
In the glass, the wine shows dark berry fruit — blackberry, black plum — with spicy hints of bay leaf and dark chocolate. The tannins are present but not coarse; the finish is long and dry. Serving temperature: 16–18 °C. Pairs well with braised lamb, beef ragout, or strong hard cheese.
